Hey Scott - Yep, that's the same way rockbox works with clips
generated for menu items.  There's less that doesn't read currently in
rockbox I think, but I'm really not trying to compare the two options
as much as it might seem like it.  ipod-wise rockbox is way behind the
current hardware, 2 generations of nano behind and none of the classic
series will run it, so I'm literally still using it because a 1st gen
nano is what I happen to have and it's my only option.  I don't doubt
at all that the Apple take on this voice clip style stuff works
smoother, interfaces and usability are the two main things that make
me such a fan boy.  Chop chop Mr Jobs, offer me a talking classic and
I'll be queueing with a fist full of fivers to buy mine.
