I find it easier to get the Macbook's latch button pushed in while
holding it on edge. Maybe it's just me.

In general I never reboot my Mac unless its part of a software update.
Even then, it's at my convenience and on my schedule. Since I'm on a
laptop I close the lid and put it in my bag. Instant off. When I'm
ready
to use it again I open the lid and by the time I set it on the table
its
up and running. Maybe 2 seconds.

I would really welcome this feature. It would be great if Windows
would let me perform some frequently used tasks and activities and
continue to load in the background for as long as it likes. It
would be interesting ifWindows 7 will have this feature. Meanwhile
do you know how to shut down Windows XP in one click.
