I'm learning lots by reading all your contributions here, you are excellent guys. At the moment, I'm still focusing on navigating or surfing the net in safari, and doing my major stuff like emailing in my windows PC.

Well, Safari is most likely on your dock. Press vo+d or ctrl+f3,
either will work, to get to the dock and find safari. You can type to
move to an item faster, typing s should take you straight to Safari.
As for how to exit Safari, press command+q to quit any open program.
This is one of many standard keystrokes that will work in all
applications.
