ah, I solved that with an airport express hooked into my surround sound 
receiver.

I hope your well.

The surround sound adapter I mentioned is a box that provides inputs
for surround sound.  basically, it is a device that sits on your desk,
and is powered via a firewire cable.  Once plugged in, it becomes a
external sound card, providing you the needed connectors to plug in
sub, center, and rear speakers in it.
