Thanks for letting us all know a little background on yourself and
sorry to hear how you lost your sight but all is not lost!!!
I use Text Eddit instead of using Microsoft Word.
I use Adium instead Of MSN.
I use the Mail program called Mail which comes with the Mac just like
Text Eddit does too.
I use itunes instead of Window Media Player, to listen to music etc.
