There are several differences. The older Macbooks have a firewire
port, the new ones don't. The new macbooks have a much better graphics
chip than the older models, but the processor speed has been reduced
from 2.4 to 2.0 except in the most expensive model for $1599. To me
the processor speed is much more important than the graphics, so I'm
glad I bought my macbook before the new models came out.
