Yep exactly Scot, that's the sort of system I'm planning here, 1 UPS
for every computer system I'm using here, we had a severe Thunderstorm
here a couple of days ago, thankfully I knew it was coming so I turned
off and unplugged everything but it meant some inconvenience,
everything was down for a good while before the storm came so the
whole episode got me thinking in the world of UPS stuff, I could (in
theory) keep going until the power was lost and then save my data, yes
inconvenient perhaps but not as inconvenient as deliberately turning
everything off and just staring at the wall, waiting for the weather
to improve <smile>.
