Hi all, Now is a good time to go over something that can help when you can't get voice over to work. This is a way to get voiceover going no matter what keyboard you have.
press command-shift-a to open the applications folder. press command-1 to set the view to icons to make sure this works, hit tab once, type sy for system preferences, press command-o to open it, press tab once, press u for universal access, press space to activate the universal access button, tab twice and up arrow and vo should start. An alternative for getting to system prefs is to press control-f2 and type sy for system prefs and press enter.
