Will that actually work? I didn't think dvd's could play with quicktime,
but then, I've honestly not really tried. I've never really hadda need.
Chris.

Hi,
Try opening it with Quicktime.
Thanks for listening,

Yes, the dvd player program works well, but on a mac mini, if there is
not a monitor connected, it will refuse to work. You would not see this
on an Imac or laptop, because the screen is built in.

You don't need a monitor. Have you looked in the applications folder?
There is a app in there called dvd player, and believe me when I say:
it works absolutely perfectly!

Hi all, for those with mac mini's, who aren't using a monitor, do you
know if you can play dvd's on your mac mini, or do you have to fool
the
mac mini in to thinking it is hooked up to a monitor when it is not,
and what would you have to purchase to do this, since I was told I
wouldn't need a monitor with my mac mini when I purchased it. Thanks
in advance for any information.
