Hi,

All it requires is a Windows installer.

Also, CDcat will work on Windows and you can share the files that way.

Thanks for listeing,
Alex,

Erg. Well I didn't have cross-platformness in my old windows catalogger either, so I got around that by making reports as text files and distributing them with my catalogs. The fact that cd cat is cross platform was a feature I was quite looking forward to. Will the licencing for your program allow some one to create a windows edition?

Hi,

Yes, but we are not making a Windows edition.

Any Unix or Lonux machine will run it though.

Thanks for listeing,

Hi,

I will let you know how it goes when I finish making "Coconut Cataloguer", which will use the same files, and be compatible with CDCat. Coconut Cataloger will work with Voiceover 100% and will be based on the VIP-Toolkit framework.

Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Hi guys, Any one ever tried CD cat from http://cdcat.sourceforge.net? I'm really excited about it because it has the ability to include info files in the catalog, and because it's a universal package that will work on all OS. If it's accessible I'm going to convert my entire catalog over to it. The thing is, if you want to run on linux or mac, you have to compile it yourself, and I do haven't ever done this before. The directions are quite clear, but they assume you are comfortable compiling programs from source... which I am not.
