Hi Simon,

Sharpkeys is available from:

http://www.randyrants.com/2008/12/sharpkeys_30.html

What is interesting to read, is that with this latest version (3.0, December 15, 2008 release) the developer has released the source code so that others can work on it.

Cheers,

Esther

Hi Kamal.

Here are the steps for mapping the insert key in sharp key:
1: First you have to choose which key you wanna use as your insert
key. I'm using the right option key which in windows in Fusion is the right alt key. So you have to click add key or what's called and find
the right alt key in the first listview.
2: Press tab, and find the insert key with your arrow keys, and then
hit the okay button.
Now you have removed the funktion from the right alt key to the insert
key. But remember that you now have two insert keys. Not physically
because there is not an insert key on the Apple keyboard, but if there was any insert key, you would now have two insert keys, which confuses Windows. So now you have to move the insert key to the right alt key.
3: Press add new key in Sharp keys, and find the insert key.
4: Press tab and find the right alt key, and hit the okay button.
Now you have moved your original insert key to the original physically
right option key which in Windows is the right alt key.

I don't know how to explain it more clearly, but I hope you see what I
mean.

Hi all:

I tried to use Sharp Keys and VM Ware key mapping feature to map one of the keys to an insert key but no luck so far. I am able to get around this issue by plugging in a numeric keypad to the computer but even then
the insert key does not alway want to work as a Jaws modifier key.
For example, I can not use the insert key to route the Jaws cursor,
etc... Just wondering if anyone has better luck getting a Jaws modifier key to work properly whether be it the insert key or the CapsLock key.

Cheers and thanks,

Kamal
