Hey there Ben, I hope everything is well.

Anyhow, you mentioned that I should check to see if she has flash and java running?

How would I go about achieving this?

I know in Safari Preferences, you can go to the security tab, and check to se if both java and java script is enabled.

Other then that, I am unsure about checking to see if flash is both running or enabled.

Best,

Reprot it to the folks at LJ.

It may be caused by content, like a Flash widget, added to the particular LiveJournal by the journal-keeper in question. It seems unlikely to be a problem with LiveJournal generally.

In any case, Safari shouldn't crash. That's a problem that should be reported to Apple, if someone can work out a reliable way of reproducing the crash.
