That may be it, I don't think the regular version of safari indicates
headings with that low of a level, but the newest builds of web kit
do, although I have seen other sites work with text that has a level 5
or 6 heading, but I think the bugs you were mentioning are on the
right track.

HI,
Se my E-mail about VO bugs. That may give you a better understanding.
Thanks for listening,

I went ahead and changed the subject so it's more accurate. That's
interesting, with the curret web kit, if I select the link to read
new mail, it announces that there are headings there, but all that
is accessible are the options to delete, reply, etc. Can't seem to
read the message, unless I missed something, I'll give it another
try, I'm using the dom mode.

Yes, the latest versions of Webkit are significantly faster than
the system-wide webkit. Even the latest builds of Webkit, however,
are nowhere near as fast as Opera when working with Voiceover.
They really don't even come close. Of course, speed gets you
nowhere if you can't fill out most forms, but hopefully this is
fixed soon.
I actually don't have any issues with SA mobile email or forums
with the latest Webkits. Several builds back there were some bugs
with it, but these seem to have been squashed at least as far as I
can tell.

There still are a couple major bugs with webkit though, one
relates to using the s a mobile network from serotek. If you use
the email feature, voice over is unable to read the email
message, the other major bug relates to voice over just saying
button or link sometimes when there may actually be a label
there. I usually use webkit instead of the actual safari browser
though, unless I find a page that is doing something strange. The
other feature that will hopefully be added at some point is to
have on click or mouse over elements announced. If you think
something is clickable, you can select it and it will work, but
having that announced would be good. This will probably require
an update to voice over as well.
