Hi Daniel! DNS (Dragon Naturally Speaking) and the other commercial voice recognition programs do not seem to want to be helpful in porting their products to work with OOo. I would really like to see something like MS Producer ["free" add-on for PowerPoint] developed for OOo Impress v 2.0. I have tried to get information in the Impress Forums and by contacting the Impress Project Moderators about this but I have not been able to get any helpful information to no response at all. I was even thinking of trying to learn enough code to attempt to do it myself but I cannot even get a response about the type of coding that would be needed to achieve this. The biblio folks are working hard to upgrade the Bibliography feature. This will definitely increase its use in academia. Improvement in Impress will also help in that and this type of add-on will also increase use for presentation purposes. I know OOo is is basically for Word Processing but the definition of word processing has really extended itself into a broader definition of programs and features over time.
