You will likely lose formating, or things will shift. It's also an extra step. Not just the two steps of "Copy and Paste" but you also have to select the stuff you want to copy, copy it, open your email program, open a new email file, address the email, subject the email, paste the body, and then send. With a built-in email, or with hooks into an existing email client like Thunderbird, one would be able to open Writer, compose their email, click a "Send as email" button, address the email, subject it, and press send. Thus saving you 5 steps, and, if the ODF format were understood by the email client (as it surely would be if it were an OOo email client) then formating would be exactly the same in the email as it was in the Writer document. -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software!
