Well saying that it wont play mp3 doesnt mean it wont play music. Once
that said there is DVD software available for linux (LinDVD) I am sure
they can purchase a license.
Mandriva 2007 does all of the above in their free version as well as play
Windows video formats like WMV
PS: If you are into high end computer games, Linux probably will not be
a viable choice before 2010.
If you define high end games as Quake, Doom, Jagged Alliance and the
like,
there are Linux versions already and have been for a while and more will
come
as more Game Devs move to OpenGL.
