In terms of "suffering", I wouldn't necessarily say that there is much
pain (exasperation, yes).  And I'd hope that if you are on that list,
you would understand that, a "users" list would have tons of new users
in the first place.
As for a waste of time, yeah, I can see that, but people are quirky that
way.  From my job in customer service, I've found that people like to
have the answer directly given to them.
