For the people wanting an eMail client with OpenOffice.org, what
about bundling Evolution with the office suite?

Because some people hate Evolution email program with a passion, like me.

I tried Evolution for a year and never found it as good as Thunderbird for my way of working. Slow and painful to use (on Linux). Corrupted messages and lost messages due to reported bugs that were never fixed.

Support was a pain as it was normally started by get the latest version which is not the easiest when you are using a RPM based version of Linux and the Evolution group doesn't create the RPM's.

At present, I prefer the present method and it works.

I also don't want to see this list filled with all the support requests that will occur due to the inclusion of a program that isn't developed or maintained by the members.

There are enough requests to support commercial versions of OOo that are sold by outside agencies.
