I actually thought IBM was very close to forking it for that reason. But given the size in MB of IBMs Office Suite offering i am not sure i want their fork. Sun main form of control, and the most contentious, is the "Joint Copyright Assignment", a real two edged sword for developers. One one hand they have to assign full equal copyright to Sun, on the other it provides a measure of law suite protection unsurpassed on any other OSS project AFAIK. -- Michael All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well - Julian of Norwich 1342 - 1416 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
