Anyway (OT, sorry): I guess there is some kind of server managing this list, right? Wouldn't it be possible for the server to recognise non subscribed users and automatically reply back to them that they need to subscribe and so on? Such an email could even contain a link for the user to click on for an automatic one-click subscription (plus confirmation). This would solve this problem for good, wouldn't it?
