Please bottom post on this list - meaning put your reply following mine :-) It's a bit of a kludge, but you can use the postnet font for single envelopes, at least until May 2011 (after that the USPS is converting to their "Intelligent" barcode & I've no idea if the postnet barcode is valid afterwards. Download and install the postnet.ttf font on your system: http://www.qualifiedaddress.com/Library/POSTNET.ttf Open OOo and create your envelope address as normal in 'Insert|Envelope. However, when adding the addressee's information in the Addressee box, add the postal code again below the address: John Doe Anytreet 1234 Anytown, Somestate 123456-78910 123456-78910 <== here Create the envelope, then highlight the bottom 123456-78910 and change the font to the postalnet font. Hint, the font will not display like the other fonts in the dropdown; instead enter 'U' and that will get you to the fonts with U names, look for the one that shows nothing & select that. The postal code should then change to the barcode. Note that it will not display/work in the envelope (Insert|Envelope) addressee box - don't know why, it just won't. So you need to change the font on the envelope section itself after the envelope has been created. I've attached a sample (postnetsample.odt). If you click on Insert|Envelope you'll see that I've added the postal code in the addressee box simply so I don't have to copy & paste when the envelope is created. To create & use in a mailmerge, try the instructions given on the links that I provided. Hope that helps.
