could open office suports xml,docx file formats and so on much well?
it couldn't convert words and pictures to .odt format and I couldn't open
these files with openoffices.
anymore, oo could have an edition fully supports with windows 7 x64?

I had to install a new HD, which required reinstalling OO.o. I
attempted to register, I needed to create an account, but the account
creation web site refuses to accept any proffered password whatsoever.
It appears to be impossible to contact Oracle unless I am offering money.
How do I register? Perhaps the question should be "Do I really NEED to
register?"
I thought registering would help the community in some way or I wouldn't
bother.
Thoughts on any of this?
