What would the original author, Dave Koelle, have to do to avoid the dependency issue? I think most people who offer their code under LGPL have a pretty open mind about the licensing they are willing to grant. Is it possible for an author to contribute something under the Restlet CDDL that they have released elsewhere under other licenses?
