Thanks Charlie.

Yes, my situation has changed as of late and I no longer develop and
maintain internal applications and now have more of a focus on development
that will require more use of web services.  I appreciate the links to get
me up to speed.

As far as the UPS API, Max got me going in the right direction and my
deadline was met (whew!!)
