That's odd. I use the Flex Builder plugin for Eclipse, so YMMV in a different IDE.
That said, you could try - for a start, and assuming it's turned on - turning off the "Build Automatically" option under "Project" in your main menu. That should stop the constant rebuild, and give you a chance to figure out the root cause. Patrick -- .
