All you have to do is on text value change create the function to upper case the text.

Even if the user is typing in lower-case, it shows the data in upper-case. That was the behavior I wanted... Doesn't force them to use caps-lock or shift... And it won't accept numbers or special characters -- that's also what I wanted. But I do get your point -- were it to force the user to hit caps-lock or shift before entering data, that would be a bad thing.
