The restrict property is a little more complicated since you need to specify
what characters the user is allowed to type in an input text field. You can
allow specific letters, numbers, or ranges of letters, numbers, and characters.
The following code allows the user to enter only uppercase letters (and not
numbers or special characters) in the text field:
myTextBox.restrict = "A-Z";

At a styling level you might try a css style of text-transform to uppercase but
I personally haven't tried this and am not exactly sure if the framework will
allow
this type of styling. My guess is it will not since all you really are doing is
applying
regular expressions here.

Subject: [AFFUG Discuss] Forcing TextInput to be all-caps...

How do I force the data in a TextInput box to be ALL CAPS?

Thanks,
