I was just mooching round the wiki and came across a few pages that were well buried.

Can someone explain who the current Directors are, and what other roles are filled ? Did the 'new' constitution ever get passed ? What is the current management structure ? Just wondering.... I know we are banned from asking for volunteers, and I quote : "No, people, please don't flood the list which such posts. If you are going to *do* something, then get started and do it. If you are not going to do anything, then just stay out of the way and keep quiet. Promises of future contributions cannot be trusted, and are therefore useless." Could we therefore have a list of current post holders, roles, responsibilities etc, and then if there are any vacant positions then maybe we could try and get some filled. Or reorganise things a bit. I know this is boring non development stuff, but IMHO it's stuff that needs sorting urgently to get some idea of where SME is headed. Unless there are some people doing this sort of thing, there can be no road map, dated or not dated. And without that, this ship is stopped in the ocean and going nowhere. As I have said before, I am more than willing to get more involved and put my hand up. I have started trying to look at documentation, I have started playing about with CentOS 6 (and had no response yet to my devs post). But this 'management' crap STILL needs doing. B.
