I assume you are talking about contribs.org ??? As far as it goes, currently there is nothing much to make public. There is no official body for contribs.org /SME There is merely a PayPal account which currently receives a couple of hundred dollars a month in donations, which is insufficient to cover Shads basic server costs, let alone pay for anything else. That IMHO is disgraceful and something we have to change as soon as possible - there are lots of people out there making money from SME installs, and not contributing back........ However, I am currently in the process of trying to form an official 'body' so we can incorporate 'SME' as a legal entity with a proper bank account etc. I hope to be able to make an announcement about this for discussion in the very near future. I am also forming a couple of groups to look at both the development direction of SME, plus the business aspect of things - with an official 'body' behind us can then try and work out how to raise more funds for the development of SME. Again I hope to make some announcements about this in the very near future. Please ask if you have any further questions, though it would probably be better if you could wait until we have some proposals for discussion. You can email me directly if you have any specifics you want to know about, or any suggestions etc. In the meantime we need more bodies to work on v9. If we don't get v9 out of the door, and soon, all the official stuff will all be worthless. So *please*, get a copy of v9 and start thrashing it or verifying it. If you aren't sure of what to do or how to do it then ask either on the devinfo list or pop in and have a chat on freenode #SME_Server B.
