Howdy all,
I've installed pfSense many times since alpha revs to a hard drive,
but never successfully to Compact Flash.
I used one of Bao's 256M beta 3 CF-IDE image on a PC with a VGA
interface(no WRAP) with a CF-IDE bridge, 256M CF card, two 3Com NICS,
one Intel NIC, and 512M RAM.
I'm looking for a way to replace
/conf.default/config.xml
with
/conf/config.xml
so my changes to the config will persist. I'm able to access the web
interface, but upon reboot I get a default state.
Perhaps it would be better to start from a beta 4 liveCD boot & go from there?
Any pointers to applicable docs or suggested install/partioning
scenarios would be appreciated.
