I think you have to change the 'platform' type to 'embedded' if you use a CF as boot media. The 'pfsense' type is mounting the hard disk RW, and you risk burning your CF. I don't know if the embedded config can be run with a real VGA on a real PC, though. Angelo Modena-Italy
