I would hazard a guess that the previous upload of the package was done in a way that didn't send the classifiers; there are none listed for it: https://pypi.org/project/pyRXP/2.1.0/
So the classifier was inside the package, but not sent with the request, and thus PyPI ignored it. Thomas
