That's what I would like to check.

I use tips and important notes on a regular basis, and they format properly.
It's just the trouble note that is not formatting properly. I'm really confused
as to what could be causing this problem.

OK.

--> I'm sorry but I don't see how I could help you. It works fine for me using XSL Utility 5.4.6. See attached screenshot.

Just guessing:

- Do you have an icon when you generate PDF? (Please don't forget to set use-note-icon="yes" for this conversion too.)

- Just in case, please retry after

1) Making a backup of your user preferences directory.

%APPDATA%\XMLmind\FOConverter\

Example: C:\Users\julie\AppData\Roaming\XMLmind\FOConverter\.

More info: http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/_distrib/xslutil/doc/help/com.xmlmind.guiutil.PreferencesEditorDialog.html

2) Deleting your user preferences directory to restore the “factory settings”.

3) Restarting XSL Utility.

4) This also means that you'll have to specify use-note-icon="yes" again after restarting XSL Utility because by default, note icons are not generated.
