Dunno who the anonymous user was, not me ;) I didn't move it back to
accepted as all concerns raised for the ticket were solved (including
you comment #13).

I'm not sure on that point, that interest was showed 1 year and a half
ago (comment #1) and was more like a design decission. The last core dev
to show up was.. you! ;)

I assume the patch you talk about is the one you commented, the
parameter name was changed accordingly. Also Adrian's comment about
doing it a bit more pythonic was also addressed. The patch is there,
waitting for comments, please raise any technical/design concerns you
have so I can address them.
