A quick followup to my own post. I dropped the "-q" but left the "bad=a", and now the mail gets delivered, not held. Also, the "Authentication-Results" header appears (which it didn't with -q!), and shows "(verification failed)" and "dkim=neutral". Everything else looks perfectly normal in the headers, with one possible exception: I have two X-DXIM lines. One is mine (immediately above the Authentication-Results header), and the other is the sendmail.net one, immediately above the DKIM-Signature one.
