I knew I should have said that in advance, sorry for wasting a round
trip here. Yes, I just pointed it at /tmp, figuring that I would be
turning it off once we got a good dump...
I have another example of a failed signature check, which is when I
write to someone using my alias, on that server, and one of the people
that I write to is also an alias on that server, which returns to me.
Only in that situation, I get an extra line in maillog:
Apr 11 15:52:01 new dkim-filter[24897]: 1570F61663A
SSL error:04077068:rsa routines:RSA_verify:bad signature
Apr 11 15:52:01 new dkim-filter[24897]: 1570F61663A: bad signature data
I don't get the "SSL error" line when I'm testing with sendmail.net
but I do get it on a "real" message, which is looping (correctly).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sending to [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets signed correctly
with selector "thirdparty" but showing "original.com" as the signer.
Both me and you @ thirdparty are aliases pointing back to original.com.
So, the message leaves my server signed, goes to thirdparty.com, the
alias for you kicks in and comes back to [EMAIL PROTECTED], so it gets
verified, and then the SSL error kicks in.
I'm running OpenSSL 0.9.8e (and I'll probably upgrade shortly,
especially if that's part of the problem).
