Just to keep this out of the Y! realm, GApps also does this for Domain alias.

example.com : primary domain
example.net : alias domain

 
FROM header       : [email protected]
MAIL-FROM envelope: [email protected]
DKIM domain       : example.net

Makes some sense to be this way but DMARC will always fail for example.net.
