Hi Daniel,

I haven't really played around with the Supernova I or II for quite a while so I can't really compare the functionality of those and the Nova but from what I remember the     Supernova II is considerably better than The Supernova I and miles better than the Nova.. (Better FX and Filters (?) for a start)...

The reason I got the Nova over anything else was because at the time I got it for about 650 and the Supernova I was still over 1000... But if you can get a supernova II for 750 then go for it! Hell, I might do the same!!!

Nick

Subject: [dnb-prod] Any Novation Headz there?

Hi,

Just a quick question, but again, i have been looking at getting a second hand Novation - and i just need to know what the latest sounds are like on the original Supernova compared to the ones on the Nova or the Supernova II - does anyone recognise obvious Novation sounds in any tunes that I could check out?

Are the sounds that different that they warrant the extra cash cos i have already decided that the spec of the Supernova II isn't really that different to the cheaper two (or is it?) and i'm not that bothered about a vocoder really. Unless anyone knows different in which case i might hold out for the top dog which at 750 second hand is getting more affordable.

Anyone else thought this through?

I remember Nick (Lankester) has one and the guy from New York - how did you guys come to choose a Novation?

Any help would be cool,

Thanks

Dan
