I have a Supernova that I *love*. I don't know about prices anymore, but choosing a II over a I because of the presets makes no sense. You should be designing your own sounds on a board with this kind of capabilities.
I can't think of *any* sound I can't make on my Supernova. That being said, there are other boards that are better for making certain sounds (the Virus for bass, for example). I think the SNII has audio inputs though, turning it into a programmable effects box, which is a good reason to choose it. But I have my Nord Modular for that. :) cheers b ===== Brian J.
