i've got win98se. and a soundblaster pci128 in there already. i do have
access to the Extigy.

i've got Cubase 5r6 which is the lowest version necessary for reason rewire
right?

Can't say how well Cubase and Reason will run on your machine as it depends
on your hardware/soundcard etc...

But, I would say that you'd probably find it a LOT easier to work with as
you can tweak the reason/cubase tracks and record your guitar at the same
time.. No need to mixdown...

192Mb should be enough RAM though... Depends on your OS...

i'm exporting my reason tracks to .wav and importing them into Sonar because
it was so much easier to start recording.

do you guys think i should switch to cubase? will it be just as easy to
rewire my
reason into it and then play guitar live over the reason stuff while i
record?

i have 192 RAM. will it kill me and give dropouts?
