Can't say how well Cubase and Reason will run on your machine as it depends on your hardware/soundcard etc...
But, I would say that you'd probably find it a LOT easier to work with as you can tweak the reason/cubase tracks and record your guitar at the same time.. No need to mixdown... 192Mb should be enough RAM though... Depends on your OS...
