Don't bother,
Your AMD motherboard is made to handle AMD chips only, even if you wanted to
slot another K6-II chip in there, good luck trying to find one.

Plus it being HP, I wouldnt be surprised if the architecture of your
motherboard is all proprietary, meaning you cannot remove/replace compnents
as most brand name PCs are built that way to encourage repeat customers to
buy whole new systems when they decide to upgrade.

Next time you buy a PC get a PC savvy friend to put a custom one together
for you from new parts. Stay away from the all in one brand name (IBM, DELL,
COMPAQ, AST, HP) systems as you pay more for them and end up with less
versatility.
