The key to making a good bass is knowing your audio theory well.. and knowing what to add a touch of and what to add alot of. Knowing where to place it & where to space it.
You can spend hours & hours trying to get one and still not have it, don't get frustrated, just keep trying.. you'll get it one day, and it will be worth it.. When i figured out my formula for it, i was as happy as a little school girl. and you realize all the time you spent to get the enlightenment, was more than worth it. Now, having done that, I can instanlty pick out a sampled bass sound in a tune and it kinda disgusts me that half of what makes up drum & bass is being ripped off so readily. Even by big name guys. Don't be one of those guys. www.djotis.com > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Terry Morgan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, December 12, 2002 1:01 PM > Subject: [dnb-prod] RE: Mad basses > > > > Yeah, quite possibly, it IS similar, so then....how did Dillinja do it? > > hehehe...oh well, I give up :( > > --- > Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk > You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
