Kind of on the subject still. When pressing dubs, don't add too much high frequency. Using plugs such as the PSP etc can really ruin your dubs. It's just the way they are pressed. (just speaking from experience from myself and others).
But it's fine on Cd's. Hopefully that should save you some money re pressing.

With EQ'ing, when it comes to mixdown, try zero'ing all your EQ's on each track and make a cup of tea and watch porn for an hour. Go back upstairs and your ears will be more fresh for the mixdown. You'll find you will use less EQ second time round
