Right, I underestimated that aspect. Who knows, maybe this new-RR-type problem would even apply to the root zone itself.
But overall I'm still not sure whether this is worth separating from companion draft(s) that will be needed for auth encryption. Or at least I'd rather consider this draft in combination with each, as a "working package".
