Can you agree that your attack on well known address approach on failure mode is unfounded and applicable to all the approaches?
I still think there's a difference in the default query propegation behavior for a badly configured network, if that's what you're asking.
Queries propagate to the configured IP addresses, regardless of how the addresses are configured.
