Sorry, but that's pure crap. The only issue is the lack of "good"
names in ".com". But there are hundreds of millions of free domain
names in ".fr", ".uk" or ".cn".

No, domain names' big service is STABILITY (not human-friendliness,
after all, people remember telephone numbers). If I switch from
Slicehost to another hoster, I change the IP address but I keep
http://www.bortzmeyer.org/. That's the important thing.
