I wonder about that. My experience is that most admins (not quite typical users:-) setup some kerberos realms that are named after DNS domains, but also have legacy and non-legacy realm names that don't map to DNS domains at all well. Again though, that's anecdotal, and I don't know of a study that's measured that. Be great to see one if someone's done the work. Cheers, S.
