About grammar... Yes and no it's indeed not relative, take a look at the HIG at gnome.org it's very much psychology and grammar feeling, for eg. I ask my sisters many times about words and sentence combinations and they give me their feeling and then my friends and this leeds to one result which all agree on. As said the HIG is a very good start-point to understand the whole problematic of DE UIs.
