This looks good. I can't today, but I'll try tomorrow to find a simple vi tutorial or reference for this to link to (since this is for beginners). Otherwise, can I make three suggestions?
1) At the beginning, maybe make mention of some of the default config options you refer to, like the file systems you want to share out, etc. You don't need to spell them out, but just say "the kinds of options you can add are:". 2) Maybe refer to "newbies" at the end instead of "sissies". The latter is a term that could be pretty offensive to the very people this is aimed at. 3) You can maybe mention that using SWAT is a good method for finding out the basic format of options, etc. in the smb.conf file, allowing one to begin simply, and then "graduate" to hand-editing the file. This is a useful function of any good GUI tool for a beginner in the subject matter. Thanks for the work you put into this. :-) Great stuff.
